The "Show or Display" rule is a statutory amendment to the United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) that allows certain privately imported automobiles to be exempted, if the vehicle in question is deemed to meet a standard of "historical or technological significance.

There are two types of R34 GT-R which are currently eligible for import:

R34 GT-R V-Spec in LV4 Midnight Purple II - there are 282 known Midnight Purple II V-Spec produced by Nissan.
R34 GT-R M-Spec Nür - there are 285 M-Spec Nür in all colours produced by Nissan.

LX0 Midnight Purple III IS NOT eligible under Show and Display!!!

Vehicles are limited to 2500 miles per year. The NHTSA reserves the right to verify mileage.

Vehicles less than 21 years of age MUST also meet import restrictions defined by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Once a vehicle turns 25 years old, it is no longer considered under the Show or Display ruling and can then be driven an unlimited number of miles.

This is not a complete list! It only shows the first and third legally imported Show and Display cars that also meet EPA regulations.
